It’s school holiday time in Sydney and if the kids are home you’ll be going through food at a rapid rate. Even if you’re out for the day, you don’t want the expense of take-away food all the time.
If your kids are in holiday care, pop a couple of muffins in their lunch box – one for them and one to share with a friend 🙂
There’s no better time to brush up on your muffin making skills. They’re perfect if school friends come to visit – they could even make them! …and they’re also great to add to a picnic hamper or lunch box.
Don’t spend up to $5 a muffin in the shops and cafes – make you’re own!
- One of my family’s favourite Banana and Chocolate Chip Muffins
- Everybody’s favourite Chocolate Muffins
- My personal favourite Peach Muffins served with cream – delicious!
The sky’s the limit when it comes to making muffins.
For an easy option, try tinned fruit (drained) – just add to the basic mix :
- tinned pears
- tinned apple
- tinned mixed fruit
- tinned apricots
- tinned pineapple
- tinned cherries
- tinned rhubarb
Have fun making muffins 🙂
